Infection prevention consulting

Infection prevention expertise, without the full-time hire.

Caliber Infection Prevention helps hospitals and healthcare facilities reduce healthcare-associated infections and stay survey-ready — combining NHSN surveillance expertise, statistical analysis, and practical, frontline-tested solutions.

A survey is coming. Or one just went badly.

// 02 - Positioning

Most community hospitals, surgery centers, and long-term care facilities carry the same regulatory exposure as a large health system — with a fraction of the infection prevention resources. Caliber closes that gap: board-certified IP expertise, available for a project, an interim period, or ongoing support.

// 03 - Services

The right level of infection prevention support, when you need it.

NHSN and SIR reporting, CAUTI/CLABSI/CDI/SSI tracking, surveillance validation, and statistical process control charting that turns raw numbers into committee-ready insight.

About Natalie

Evidence in. Infections out.

I’ve spent more than a decade making sure fewer of those stories get written — leading infection prevention in acute care, where the work is equal parts science, systems, and people.

That work has taken me into every corner of an IP program: building HAI surveillance from the ground up, guiding hospitals through DNV, CMS, and state survey readiness, modernizing policy to current APIC, SHEA, CDC, and AORN standards, and teaching everyone from a brand-new bedside nurse to a boardroom of executives — often about the same outbreak, in two very different languages.
